I've been to Arenal 3 weeks ago. I went to see an amazingly huge waterfall and then my dengue started so I missed out on the entire sunday. Very sad. I just slept the entire day and tried to survive. It was the beginning of a very different week. As I did not eat anything from saturday on, I got taken to the hospital by wednesday since my health conditions did not get better. I was there for almost 5 days. In the end I am fine again, but the way I feel changed. But the doctor told me that Dengue patients might feel different after the illness so I am not that surprised. I've been recovering this week and this weekend as well. I'm missing out on the carneval of Limon, because I need to be 100% for my next plans. They are really big and I am so excited! You will know more soon. This is a preview from the waterfall! As always we filmed a lot and I will share the best moments with the internet as soon as the footage is ready.
